Vietnam Memorial in Toowoomba supplied and installed by J.H. Wagner & Sons.
The design of the Vietnam memorial in the Mothers Memorial Gardens, Toowoomba demonstrates the three forms of Armed Forces; Navy, Air Force and Army in pre-cast concrete with an integrated water course leading to the central pond of reflection. Etchings on polished Black granite panels have been supplied by J.H. Wagner & Sons along with dedication panels, pond capping and plinths in both bronze and black granite with gold incised lettering. The image of a Wattle spray on the central bronze plaque has long been viewed as a symbol of the sacrificies made for the Australian nation.
