Longreach Poem Rocks manufactured by J.H. Wagner & Sons.
The Australian Stockmans' Hall of Fame in Longreach Queensland is also the home to a collection of Poem Rocks displaying the verse of noted Australian Poets. 'The House by the side of the road', 'The Women of the West' and 'The Men of the Open Spaces' were cut into large Black granite panels in gold incised text and inserted into Helidon Sandstone free-form boulders. In addition to supplying the Longreach Poem Rocks, J.H. Wagner & Sons has also processed sandstone for structures at the Hall of Fame and carried out supply and installation of sandstone crazy paving to paths and entry statement at the Longreach complex.
