Southport War Memorial relocation by J.H. Wagner & Sons.
The redevelopment of the Southport Broadwater Parklands in 2010 necessitated the removal and relocation of the existing Southport War Memorial within the upgraded park. Using vast experience and the very best of trade practises for safety and material handling, J.H. Wagner & Sons dismantled the entire memorial, transported the stones back to our Toowoomba factory for cleaning and restoration and when able in conjunction with site works by the head contractors, returned to the Southport Broadwater Parklands and carefully re-erected the memorial. In addition to the services of J.H. Wagner & Sons in the supply of new public memorials we also specialise in memorial restoration and repairs and the supply of condition and maintenance reports.
Similar works have also been provided by J.H. Wagner & Sons for the Coolangatta War Memorial and the Barry Memorial at Tambo.
