Riverview Girls / Boys Home

 Riverview Girls Home and Riverview Boys Home Historical Marker manufactured by J.H. Wagner & Sons.

In recognition of the Girls and Boys who had residence at Riverview between 1897 and 1977 a memorial was dedicated at the site on 14th January 2012, supported by The Salvation Army Australia and Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale.  "Never to be Forgotten" inscribes not only the cast bronze plaque but the thoughts of the former residents, families and community.  Supply, manufacture and installation of the sandstone bases, back-punched sandstone plinth block and a bronze dedication plaque was completed by J.H. Wagner & Sons in late 2011 prior to on-site landscaping works for a memorial garden.
