The Centenary of ANZAC in 2015 was a fitting occasion to provide for Muttaburra and district a new War Memorial in recognition of all who have served Australia both in conflict and peace keeping. The monument, designed and installed by J.H. Wagner & Sons, consists of Black granite with JHW 'Generation Etch' laser etched text and images including honour rolls. A Grandee Grey granite shaped blade stone on the front face of the memorial has three bronze sculpture badges for Australian Army, Australian NAVY and Australian Air Force. Exfoliated granite paving slab surrounds provide an area for placement of wreaths.
