From concept to creation ~ J.H. Wagner & Sons were approached by the founder of the Lights on the Hill Truck & Coach Drivers Memorial, Kathy White, to assist in the design, specification, manufacture and installation of a Queensland memorial to our Truck and Coach Drivers.
From a pencil sketch the idea grew, J.H. Wagner & Sons supplied a drawing submission, materials suggestions and a brief of what the memorial would represent by its selection of materials. 'Lights on the Hill Truck & Coach Drivers Memorial' was officially opened in 2005 after enormous efforts in fundraising and sponsorship events to make the idea a reality. J.H. Wagner & Sons have appreciated and enjoyed being both a major sponsor and a supplier of this important memorial.
The 'Lights on the Hill Truck & Coach Drivers Memorial' consists of block walling, Irregular Colonial Walling Sandstone facing, smooth sandstone plaque panels, Darwin Brown granite signage panels, Black Granite panels with etchings and logos, individual bronze plaques and exfoliated granite paving with roadway design. 'Lights on the Hill Truck & Coach Drivers Memorial' is located at Apex Park, Gatton.
