Polished Australian Adelaide Black granite step treads and landings adjoin the stone feature wall. A total of 28 polished pieces were manufactured in thickness of 40mm, 30mm and 16mm to suit applicable floor heights with splayed and polished front edge.
An aluminium stair insert has been rebated into the front edge of each granite step tread to protect against slipping and polished marine grade stainless steel tactile (Braille) hazard markers have been inserted into Black granite top and bottom landing slabs.
In addition to the granite components supplied and installed by J.H. Wagner & Sons, our company also provided polished grey granite tiles which were used for wall cladding, step risers and reception desk facing.
